cjc24 asked:

My wife is hitting a landmark birthday this summer and I’m trying to get a few of her girlfriends to come to town to help her celebrate. I wanted to send them away for the weekend to the mountains someplace but trying to figure out where. They’re not going to be big partiers, not going to be during ski season - just a fun relaxing weekend for them with perhaps a nice dinner or two and stuff to do during the day.

Evergreen is nice, my husband and I stay at this hotel when we go:

There are several little shops and restaurants on the main road, including a little place where you can paint pottery and they’ll fire it for you.
