      The catskills and for longer trip stowe vermont.

      I been to wyndham mountain before its like 2 1/2 hours away, and I lovedddd it.

      Hunter Mountain or anywhere in the Catskill Mountain region would be the closest. I have not actually skied there though. We generally go to Wyndham which is actually in MA, but still in your time limits. Wyndham has great lifts. Also, if you are a beginner or have kids they have great training programs.
