The techniques are transferable skating wedge turns stemchristie turns stemchristie turns stemchristie turns etc have with alpine skis pretty easy do both but im always amazed at how much control have with alpine skis you learned to ski on free heeled nordic skis you will find most of the techniques are transferable skating.
