I am buying property with these trees growing and don’t want to loose them, all the other trees are green, but these seem unhealthy. I see no signs of bugs and was hoping it was a nutrition problem.
The trees are located in Cheyenne, WY.

Did you know that the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone is helping with aspen regeneration?

Spectacular aspen clones, some of which are thousands of years old, had until recently not regenerated in vast stretches of Yellowstone for nearly fifty years. Then wolves were reintroduced to the park, and there is compelling evidence that the wolves have begun to reduce overbrowsing on young aspen. Regeneration appears to be taking place within the last few years.

Is that cool or what?
