How can I best find vendors for an Aspen wedding?

I’m helping a friend plan her Aspen wedding (we live in Houston, TX) and we are having a terrible time finding people to help plan her Aspen wedding. More specifically, she desperately needs a wedding coordinator in Aspen or who knows the area well enough to manage the wedding for her. Looking online has not turned up anyone.
Any ideas on how to find such a person?

      Try looking up the aspen phone book on-line and looking for a local planer, even if you don’t use the person they could probably help with the area.

      Do a Yahoo or Google search. Put in Weddings, Aspen, Colorado and that should help you find a list of vendors.

      Go onto The Knot (www.theknot.com) and read the Aspen message boards for Vendor reviews. Also if she is having at a resort, ask the resort if they have a coordinator or a list of recommended vendors.

      Check Glenwood Springs which is close, most people that work in Aspen don’t live in Aspen. Also, you could check Boulder, Denver, etc… and maybe one of those coordinators can give you a lead.
