how hard is it to go from skiing to snowboarding?

i’m 21, and i’ve been skiing since i was 7. i really love it, but now my younger sister and most of my friends have gone to snowboarding. they assure me it would be easy for me, but i have my doubts. is there anyone out there who has any advice?

      The help of poles and if you have to balance without the help of poles and if you should try it switch back good luck.
