Is there any back country skiing anywhere in the North East?

I live in CT and im a skier. Does anyone know of any secret back country spots in the North East or just any sweet spots for skiing and snowboarding? I’m a freestyle skier and looking to get some nice back country spots for me and a few friends to to board and ski.
