what condition is vail Mountain in now, how many trails will they have open for the weekend?

      According to snow.com Vail is 19% open, which means about 20 trails will be open. I talked to a couple buddies who went their over the weekend and they said none of the bowls were open. I skiied at A-Basin on Sunday and the snow was great in the morning until it got skiied off and became icy in the PM. I would assume all the new snow from the last storm is skiied off at Vail too.

      However, there is snow in the forecast later in the week so things might be looking better by the weekend. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

      12/6 Update: It’s been snowing a ton in the mountains and it’s supposed to keep snowing all weekend. So, conditions should be great.
