What’s the best time of year to go snowboarding in Breckenridge?

I’m going to go snowboarding there pretty soon since I have a place to stay for free. What’s the best time to go? I’m looking at around late February to early-mid March.

      You got the right time dude, late feb early march. But breck is always frickin awesome

      Late Feb. would be better than March. The place gets crazy busy when schools start spring breaks. I personally prefer breck in mid-late January and early feb. just to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

      Right now (mid-JAN) is awesome. Avoid the time between Christmas and New Years, and mid-March (Spring Break). Otherwise check the weather reports and try to arrive the morning after a major dump, for some great powder skiing.

      If you don’t like a resort as big as Breck, but want skiing that’s at least as good, try Copper Mtn, also in Summit County and only about 20 mins from Breck.

      february is perfect thats when i go. But i hear that January is better.
