Abe Froman asked:

In a normal ski year, when do the Summit/Eagle County Ski resorts (Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Copper A-Basin) typically open 100% of their acreage?

I know the early part of this ski year was slow… I am wondering how far behind the ski resorts are compared to a normal year.

Mid to late December. Still some exposed rock and trees then too.

They typically aim to have everything open by Christmas- when the big crowds come in….but of course, no guarantees…(but after this week, it looks like that just might happen!)
